Body as an extension of Architecture: Self-portrait
Pencil, charcoal, 6x4 watercolor paint
This project was held at Harvard Graduate School of Design as a part of a course Drawing for Designers: Techniques of Expression, Articulation, and Representation.
First stage of the project was to make series of pictures of ourselves in the window finding specific postures that would conceptually "extend" the idea of a window through our bodies. Then we had to choose just one, outline it on a large sheet of paper and then draw the rest.
Below you can see my final drawing, the original photo and several other photos, which could have potentially become self-portraits.
The project was exhibited at Harvard Graduate School of Design in the Fall 2017.
