Leaves in Marble (2019)

for 8 musicians, fixed media and analogue electronics. Commissioned by Curious Chamber Players.

Each piece, in which I get to perform, is a very special event for me. A part of me misses being on stage; she misses that very special feeling of being inside the moment and living through it. Nothing, absolutely nothing can replace or even closely resemble this particular existence - being on stage, performing live, forming the space of unity among the performers, the public and myself. The body, ears, eyes, movements – become naturally amplified with many presences around you tuning to the same frequency, to which you guide them through with your own listening and focus, spreading the energy, charging the space with it and sharing whatever you're experiencing at 360 degrees around you.

You become a fire, you burn by giving that energy away and you're born in burning.
